1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
I think it was a Rimmel London kohl pencil eyeliner my mum gave me.
2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
Well currently I'm trying to decide between two mascaras. I recently bought the GOSH Double Precision mascara and I have been loving it as double ended mascaras work great for me. However, I also have the Benefit Roller Lash mascara and I have to say I understand the hype around it.
3. What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
I usually prefer medium coverage as occasionally my skin goes through a bad patch and I need to cover it up but I am very pale so if my foundation is too thick it is very hard to avoid looking orange.
4. Favorite high end brand?
I haven't really tried many high end brands as I can't really afford them but from what I have seen I would probably have to go with MAC.
5. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?
MAC, Chanel, and YSL
6. Favorite drugstore brand?
GOSH because they seem to do the lightest foundation and their mascaras are brilliant.
7. Do you wear fake eyelashes?
Not really as I am absolutely terrible at putting them on.
8. Is there any kind of makeup you can't leave the house without?
Not as such, I don't wear makeup every single day but I do like to wear foundation and mascara on a more toned down day.
9. What is your most cherished beauty product?
Currently my Au Naturel eyeshadow palette by Sleek MakeUp.
10. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?
More often than not I just buy one thing here and there but I can feel a bit of a beauty spree coming on at the moment!
11. Do you have a "beauty budget" or you spend freely?
I just spend what I have extra really, it usually comes out of my clothes budget.
12. Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
If I have them but I don't really go out of my way to get them.
13. What type of product do you buy the most of?
Probably either lip products or eyeliner.
14. Is there a brand that you absolutely can't stand?
Not really, there are certain collections that look awful on me but I wouldn't say that makes a brand bad because it probably looks better on someone else.
15. Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?
No but I probably should and I try to buy cruelty free makeup when I can.
16. Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
I usually go to Superdrug because it's close to my house but I like feelunique.
17. Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
I am terrible at maintaining a skincare routine. I really need to work on that this year!
18. Favorite bath and body brand?
LUSH LUSH LUSH
19. If you could only buy from one brand, which brand would you choose?
Probably GOSH or Lush Cosmetics
20. What brand do you think has the best packaging?
I like the packaging for Sleek MakeUp.
21. Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Taylor Momsen and Kylie Jenner in entirely different ways!
22. Do you belong to any online makeup communities?
Nope
23. 5 Favorite Beauty Gurus
Becca Rose
Zoella
Zoella
Zoe London
Lily Melrose
Stephanie Lange

24. Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?
I've honestly never tried them but I would be up for giving them a go!
25. Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
At times, especially when it comes to eyeliner. Will my eyes ever be symmetrical?
26. Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
Yes most of the time but mine is running out so I need some more.
27. How many hair products do you use on a typical day?
Dry ShampooArgan Oil
I try not to wash my hair too much as it dries out easily. On a day when I was my hair I use the above and shampoo & conditioner.

28. What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?
Usually foundation but occasionally I'll do it the other way around.
29. Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
If I could afford it I definitely would!
30. What do you love about makeup?
That from day to day you can look like a totally different person. There is always something to experiment with!
Decided to nominate myself for this tag after reading Beyond The Velvet's post. As I loved all of their answers!
You have to get rid of all of your foundations and only keep one high end and one drugstore, which do you keep?
I have never actually owned a high end foundation but the closest I have gotten is the Dainty Doll foundation by Nicola Roberts and I loved it (I'm pretty pale). However, sadly it has been discontinued which I still haven't gotten over. My favourite high street foundation has been GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation for a while as it comes quite pale which is difficult to find in a high street foundation. It is also light reflecting which I quite like.
You go for an interview and the lady interviewing you has lipstick on her teeth. Do you approach the subject or ignore it completely?
I would definitely do my best to ignore it. I would find it so awkward if I had to tell a potential boss that they had lipstick on their teeth. I can't imagine it would go down great either!
You're not feeling yourself and you need a pick-me-up lipstick, which do you go for?
Manic Panic Vampire Red all the way!
You go back in time for a day to your teenage years, how would you do your hair or makeup differently?
I'm still in my teenage years so I'm probably making mistakes now but I would tell my younger self not to settle for foundation that makes me look orange and that sharing my friend's blunt eyeliner was definitely a bad idea.
You ask your hairdresser for for a shoulder length Pixie Lott hair cut but they hear wrong and give you a pixie cut, what do you do?
A) Smile, say thank you, call your mum and cry hysterically
B) Cry in the chair and things get awkward
C) Complain to the manager and demand a refund
In my head I wan't to say that I would calmly explain the situation and ask if there was any way to style it out but I would definitely have to go with A as although I try to avoid awkward situations I cannot hide it from my mum!
Your friend surprises you with a 4 day city break and you have one hour to pack, which 'Do It All' palette do you pack in your makeup bag?
My Sleek MakeUP i-Divine au naturel palette as it is a great go to for smoky and natural eyes.
Your house has been robbed, don't worry everyone is safe, but your beauty stash has been raided. What's the product you really hope is safe?
I have to pick one?! First and foremost the Sleek MakeUP palette I just mentioned and my Manic Panic Vampire Red lipstick.
Your friend borrows makeup and returns it in an awful condition. Do you:
A) Pretend you haven't noticed
B) Ask them to re-purchase it
C) Secretly do it back to their makeup
I don't think any of my friends would do this but I'll be honest I'd probably ask them to replace it or at least give me some money towards a new one. I'm not big on lending people things, I would rather just give things to them!
I've had a bit of a stressful day so I thought I'd write a bit of a motivational post to cheer myself up. As well as any of you out there hit by the Monday vibes. I think 2015 is going to be the year for the busy. We're all going to be moving and doing. Which is great because then we'll all be able to achieve a lot more that way. However, we mustn't forget to take a moment to relax and regain focus. Sometimes it really does help to hit the refresh button.
I like to write lists when things feel a bit hectic. It's a nice way to organise my thoughts. You can write lists about anything; groceries, sports cars or how many types of shoes you have in your closet. I'm also a bit of a stationary fanatic so that probably only adds to my not so cool love of lists. Whether you're a list person or more visual that's fine. I just find that sometimes the best thing to do is get your thoughts out of your head and onto something a bit more solid.
After you have cleansed yourself of stressful thoughts and things you have to get done then you need to cleanse your body too. My favourite way to do this is with a bath bomb by Lush Cosmetics because we all know that bath bombs are what they do best! I always feel calmest when I am in the bath and it is filled with bubbles, soft scents and a sea of colours.
Then I like to curl up, all soft and cosy with a hot chocolate and reach for a book or the nearest thing with netflix access and go to another world. That's the great thing about books, you can be anywhere you want to be. Which brings me onto a small announcement as I will soon be making book reviews a regular thing each time I finish another novel which I'm really looking forward to. So until next time, remember to breathe and I hope you have a good week!
